Romantic Elopement at Holland Farms in Milton, Florida

Chase and Madison traveled all the way from St. Louis, Missouri to Pensacola, Florida to elope at the Escambia County Courthouse and then later celebrate their love at Holland Farms where we ran around in the zinnia flower fields.

Madison had first messaged us a few months back and talked about how she and Chase we planning on eloping as they wanted something smaller and intimate, surrounded by their families. We brainstormed on ideas for a bit and originally landed on doing some photos in Downtown Pensacola at one of the local bars and running around with some pizza until they came across some photos we did at Holland Farms. Once seeing those photos, they instantly fell in love with the scenery and the vibe so we ended up going to Holland Farms.

Madison and Chase described their relationship as sweet, fun, and goofy. They are romantics with a silly side! They said that they wanted their photos to not only look like them but also feel like them. They wanted some more fun, posed images but mainly wanted ones where they run through the fields holding hands, Chase spinning her in the air, picking flowers together, and slow dancing. All the cutesy, romantic things!

There was one photo in particular that Madison raved about and said that the second she saw that photo, she instantly changed her mind and wanted to get their photos done here. It was a promoted moment where we told the couple to pick flowers together and just be cute. The guy grabbed one and tucked it behind the girl’s ear, them just looking at each other. It’s actually one of our favorite photos that we’ve ever taken so the fact that they saw it and loved it as much as we do was so sweet!

Madison and Chase, they told us how they were in the process of buying a home and planned on announcing their marriage to their friends at their house warming party by printing out the photos and plastering them over their walls. When sending the gallery over to them, Madison said, “YOU ARE SO TALENTED WE LOVE THEM SO MUCH” with some crying emojis and then said she didn’t have enough wall space to print them all out and display them. It’s seriously one of the best compliments we can get as photographers is knowing that you love your photos and wanting to plaster them everywhere.
